Jun 15, 2010 – Austin, TX – Benson Company’s Design Carpet and Floors unveiled their new web site which is focused on serving the Interior Design and Architectural industries in Austin, TX. For over 40 years Bill Benson has owned and operated one of the most respected wholesale flooring businesses in all of Austin. Now in over 40 years in business, Mr. Benson determined that constructing a new site is the best way to educate and help his customers. In addition to the new site Benson Company’s Design Carpet and Floors still has over 3000 sq. feet of room in his two designer showrooms which feature thousands of samples of the finest flooring products (wood flooring, designer carpet, designer rugs, sisal & seagrass) from around the world. "We were looking for a way to meet our customers where they are doing the majority of their research; online. Our goal was for this site to supplement our showroom as a medium to inform and educate our industry about the level of service and products we provide and so far it has done just that. It allows people in the trade, our customers, to look at some of our products and it educates them as what sort of business we are. We’re excited to be able to offer this medium to our current and future clients."
