Epic Media was founded  in 2009 as the result of a massive layoff by a large media company in Austin, TX. Left without a job but a strong knowledge of internet marketing and the Austin Small Business market Epic Media was formed.

The experience of working for a Big Advertiser allowed us see some of the flaws in the large corporate advertiser model, namely that you’re usually tied to a contract that you’re obligated to pay regardless of the performance of your program. If you’re advertising is not performing and the business is struggling, the business owner is now in the position where they are forced to either not honor their advertising contract or cut other critical expenses, possibly even employees. Having seen this scenario play out many times, Epic Media was built on the foundation of one simple premise: Help Small Business Owners Be Successful. What that means is rather than focusing on clicks to your web site or other metrics that don’t always tell the complete story of your businesses online performance, we focus on your success and we structure all of our products and services (even our contracts) around that premise.
